Building your presence online Part 3

Indeed... you guessed right!!! It brings in THE MONEY!!! Laat me eerlijk wezen. Het komt niet binnen als zee-water ... of laat me beter zeggen...'t komt NOG NIET binnen als zee-water as from the Atlantic Ocean, maar wel als rivierwater van de Cottica (Suriname) ... maar feit is ... 't komt binnen!!! Meer hierover in the 4th reason why I started to build my presence online, but let me now get into the 3rd reason

Reason nr 3.

As I operate online I easily connect with like-minded people who hold me accountable  and keep me focused on my journey of success and significance. Keeping the BIG DREAM alive takes consistency, commitment and concentration, and that can be challenging at times. Since the average people live mediocre lives, settling down for whatever comes their way and as they are OK with doing life on survival-mode,  there  can be much resistance, restrain and misunderstandings. Therefore I surround myself with people online who refuse to live average lives, people who refuse to settle down for whatever comes their way and with people who are not OK with doing life on survival-mode, so we keep each on the right track.

Reason nr 4

Building a presence online opens the door for my 2nd income-stream through content-marketing. I deliver the valuable content goal-driven, no-nonsense women are looking for. Once they become part of the MADwoman professionals and entrepreneurs Community they benefit from our programs and  services  and connect with like-minded people as well. That allows me to generate my 2nd income-stream so the dollars are coming in first as brackishwater from a canal and now as fresh water from the river. 

Considering the economic situation Suriname is now facing, building your presence online is the way for esp. professionals, entrepreneurs and seniors to deal with it's effects, in this information age, some say the connection age. The connection-machine never stops working even as you sleep it goes on and on and so does your online presences as it is connected to your business ... if you set it upTHE RIGHT WAY. Remember ... there is always someone one step ahead of you who is willing to coach you, the right way. You just need to find that person. I found mine and am growing to THE NEXT LEVEL on my journey of success and significance.

A call to action

Start where you are by strategically building your presence online and in doing so serving the people you were created to serve. And as you go about your way ascending to the next level and the next and the next and the next ... you're generating your second income stream  slowly, but gradually.

Build your presence online Part 2

 We're all convinced that an online presence is necessary in this day and age, right?! No discussions about that! It's a matter of building it STRATEGICALLY!!!

In Part 2 of the series of posts on this topic I want to continue with the second reason why I started to STRATEGICALLY build my presence online.




Reason nr 2
My presence on line allows me to be seen by those who are in need of the service that I provide. With a google search on the topics and themes that I post people now can easily find me and so have access to the answers to some of their burning questions they need to get answers for in order for them to ascent to THE NEXT LEVEL in their lives.

Questions like "Why don't I just do the thing and get it over with instead of setting it off each time?", or "How do I move forward, now that my broken-heart demands that I hold on to what is no more?" or "This is a great opportunity, but how do I overcome the doubts that keep me stuck and prevent me from moving forward to THE NEXT LEVEL?" or" What an unorganized and dis-functional department I'm at, how do I operate in here under this crazy leadership, while I  am searching for another job?"

Before, I tried to reach people with my business-card. But, really ... the time of business-cards is over! Usually people put them somewhere, any where when they receive it and when they really need it they usually can't find it, hihihihi. But with one click on their phone they now can easily find me online, right?! So now when I communicate with people off line and I notice that they are in need of my service or clearly express that they want my service, all I need to know is their presence online. So now in stead of me handing them over my business card, I connect with them online and continue where we left off . Now it's not me chasing them with my business-cards but them chasing on line

Building your presence online Part 1

Yes, indeed, building your presence online is necessary and simple as we've seen in the introductory-blog on the topic. Surely you already have an online presence, because an-no 2016 no one can survive as pros, pres or seniors without it. Your electronic mailbox allows people in your network to communicate with you rapidly.




Most of you do social media. You have a social presence using Facebook, Linked-in, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or Twitter, etc. Facebook alone had 1.13 billion daily active users on average and 1.03 billion mobile daily active users on average for June 2016, according to the company stats ....wow!!! Since I believe that you are already online, it now is a matter of using the social platform strategically to build your presence ..... but why?

Why I started to build my presence strategically online?

Here is reason nr 1.
For me the online world became a place to execute my CALLING. Over the years it became clear to me that encouraging people to stand up again and move forward, when life knocked them down was more than something I spontaneously did.  I've discovered that when I encourage fellow human beings who are in a state of insecurity, instability and confusion I feel so intense and the words come from a deep and cor place inside of me. It became such a  life fulfilling experience ...undescribable!!! Realizing not only the impact of this experience on my personal life but also on the lives of other people I decided to make it my mission.

Being struck down by life many times, first by the challenges of  a hectic life as a pregnant senior academic student with a full-time job, then by the challenges of single-parenthood and definitely by the challenge to keep my daughter sane after her recovery from mental strain, I have learned to LEAD MYSELF to stand up again from within and to move forward, ascending to THE NEXT LEVEL, THE NEXT SEASON on my journey of success and significance.

In the process I have developed a model of personal leadership which pulled me up time and time, again and again GROUNDED PERSONAL LEADERSHIP. Build your presence on line - introduction

May I  bring to your attention something that you cannot go around in this day and age? Especially for  you pros, pres and seniors as in professional, entre- preneurs and senior (academic) students .

It is time to ......BUILD YOUR PRESENCE ON LINE. Why is that?

The answer is very simple.

The agrarian age of farming is gone. The way to make a difference was through farms and lands. The agrarian economy was on the move back then.The 20th Century industrial age of factories made it's contributions. The corporate world opened it's doors for ambitious people to make their difference among the many in an industrial economy ....... but now ... as we moved into the information age due to the rise of the internet ... everything has changed.

Since the year 2000 information and communication technology took over. It's all about building networks, owning networks  in this connection-economy. S nowadays THE way to make your difference among many happens ONLINE. It is your time now to not only show up strong at the office  or at your workplace or at college but even more ONLINE. It is time to build your presence online.


 A friend of mine did her Master's degree in Public Health in the USA. She told me that in one of the courses she was specifically instructed to do a google search on her name. Why? This will give you a snapshot of your current online presence in a sec.
